This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Multimedia Web Design. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Animator Level II Certificate. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

The Animator Certificate provides students with entry-level skills in the development of motion graphics, 2-D and 3-D animations, interactive computer games, and simulations for corporations, e-learning, and government organizations. This award provides an external learning experience. Courses that complete the certificate and are noted below.

  • MATH 1316 Plane Trigonometry This is a Core course. Must earn a grade of "C" or better.  
  • MATH 1324 Mathematics for Business and Social Sciences This is a Core course. Must earn a grade of "C" or better.  OR
  • MATH 1332 – Contemporary Mathematics (Quantitative Reasoning) This is a Core course. Must earn a grade of "C" or better.
