As a professional nurse, you are part of the patient care team. Your knowledge and skills are important for a patient's recovery. Your duties include administering medication, performing diagnostic tests, using high-tech medical equipment, developing and implementing a patient care plan and educating patients, their families, and the public.
Nurses can work in many healthcare facilities like hospitals, clinics, schools, military, and occupational health. So why Dallas College? You learn from experienced nursing faculty who care about student success.
Students begin hospital rotations the first semester and rotate through area hospitals, participating in a wide variety of procedures. The courses are offered on multiple campuses, giving you more flexibility and options while completing your degree.
