Join the Dallas College Workforce Scholars Program.
Providing career-ready high school students opportunities to participate and apply knowledge and skills learned in a classroom through work-based learning experiences.
Students who wish to participate in the Dallas College Workforce Scholars Program must meet the following requirements:
- Have junior or senior standing AND be at least 16 years of age at the time the internship begins.
- Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Enrolled in a Career and Technical Education course or P-TECH program.

September 20-21, 2023: Student/parent information sessions conducted.
October 6, 2023: Initial Application deadline
October 9-13, 2023: Student interviews conducted
October 23-27, 2023: Students informed of interview results. Selected students participate in Dallas College orientation and begin new hire paperwork.
October 30 - November 3, 2023: Target start date - allows students to receive first paycheck in December.
