STEM Institute
The STEM Institute was established in 2009 to provide a transformative experience for scholars as they pursue their education with Dallas College, in preparation for university transfer and to fill a critical workforce need for prepared professionals in STEM fields.
The Institute has become a leader in STEM education, serving nearly 2,000 students annually. Whether you’re interested in computer science, construction, electronics, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or anything else in the STEM world, we’ve got it covered. We also keep our programs current and relevant, so you’ll be ready to start a successful career in STEM.

Engineers Week
Feb. 15-21, 2026
Known as E-Week, this is a time to recognize and celebrate engineers and inspire future generations to pursue engineering careers. Dallas College will host events, including an engineering challenge.
