Physical
Taking care of your body through regular physical activity, proper nutrition and adequate rest
Dallas College supports physical wellness through:
- Health Services – Get free medical services on campus, including health counseling, vaccinations, health screenings and over-the-counter medications.
- Health and Well-being Presentations, Events and Workshops
- Campus Fitness Centers – Each campus has its own fitness center, free to students, that includes exercise equipment, athletic courts and weightlifting.
- Exercise is Medicine – Let's get healthier, together! With this 10-minute video workout, you can exercise while sitting in your chair.
Occupational
Achieving satisfaction and fulfillment in your work
Dallas College supports occupational wellness through:
- Career Services – Find free resources, including career coaching, job application assistance, resume writing and mock interviews.
- Career Workshops – Attend a career workshop to find a career path, prepare for a job or enhance your marketable skills.

Emotional
Recognizing, managing and expressing emotions in a healthy way

- Student Care Coordinators – Our student care coordinators are here to help you manage the stress and challenges of everyday life while ensuring you’re supported both in and out of the classroom.
- Counseling and Psychological Services – Get free mental health counseling from a licensed professional.

- Basic Needs and Community Connections – Need help covering your basic needs? Dallas College Basic Needs can help you access financial resources like our emergency aid fund and connect you with other campus and community resources for support, whether it’s for food, housing, transportation, childcare or other necessities.
- Financial Aid – Almost every student is eligible for some type of financial aid. Even if you aren’t eligible for federal aid, you may qualify for a work-study job, scholarships, emergency funds and more.
Intellectual
Pursuing knowledge, critical thinking and creativity to expand and challenge your mind
Dallas College supports intellectual wellness through:
- Tutoring – With free personalized, one-on-one tutoring, we’re here to help you be successful in your academic pursuits.
