Our goal is to help you find a balanced and fulfilling life, while promoting overall well-being in each dimension.

  • Career Services – Find free resources, including career coaching, job application assistance, resume writing and mock interviews.
  • Career Workshops – Attend a career workshop to find a career path, prepare for a job or enhance your marketable skills.
  • Career Assessment – Discover your career path with Lightcast, Dallas College’s official career assessment tool.

Dallas College supports social wellness through:

  • Student Life and Engagement – Build relationships on campus by joining a student club, playing a sport or attending events.
  • Support Programs – We offer a variety of programs to support you at college and help you connect with others. Check out options for veterans, foster care students, first-generation college students, those with accessibility needs and more.

Financial

Managing financial resources effectively and planning for future financial well-being

Dallas College supports physical wellness through:

  • Basic Needs and Community Connections – Need help covering your basic needs? Dallas College Basic Needs can help you access financial resources like our emergency aid fund and connect you with other campus and community resources for support, whether it’s for food, housing, transportation, childcare or other necessities.
  • Financial Aid – Almost every student is eligible for some type of financial aid. Even if you aren’t eligible for federal aid, you may qualify for a work-study job, scholarships, emergency funds and more.

Intellectual

Pursuing knowledge, critical thinking and creativity to expand and challenge your mind

Dallas College supports intellectual wellness through:

  • Tutoring – With free personalized, one-on-one tutoring, we’re here to help you be successful in your academic pursuits.
  • Library – Visit the campus library to find academic support through research assistance, online student webinars and device loans.
  • Success Coaching – Need help navigating the world of college? From your first day to graduation or transfer, a success coach will be there for you every step of the way, motivating you to succeed in your academic journey.

  • Multifaith Worship Spaces – Most campuses have a designated quiet space where you can engage in prayer, meditation, mindfulness, yoga or other spiritual and reflective practices.
  • Student Religious Clubs – Many campuses offer religious clubs and organizations that you can join.
