Parents will first enter WorkReadyU, a completely free adult-education program at Dallas College, to complete their HSE before moving on to college-level courses that apply toward their certificate and/or degree.
To be eligible, your high school senior must have attended a participating Promise high school their full senior year. Additionally, you must qualify for Texas in-state tuition.
Previous college courses can give you a jump start on completing a certificate program or an associate degree. Make sure to speak with a success coach before enrolling.
With a Parent Promise scholarship, you can enhance your skills through a certificate program, making yourself more marketable to your current or future employer.
