Showcase Your Art Skills and Win Big Prizes

Would you like a new Nintendo Switch? Or maybe some Apple AirPods? Well, you can win those prizes in Dallas College’s Self-Portrait Art Contest!
Students are encouraged to showcase their creativity this semester while celebrating their individuality and highlighting who they are. Deadline to submit artwork is Monday, March 24 and the winners will be announced at the Art Show on Friday, April 11 in the Tree Top Lounge at the Mountain View Campus.
The top three pieces based on popular vote will win the following prizes:
1st place: Nintendo Switch
2nd place: Apple AirPods
3rd place: Kindle Fire
The contest is being hosted by Dallas College’s Common Experience Taskforce and the Learning Commons. It is inspired by this year’s Common Book, “Tell Me Who You Are” by Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi.
Key Dates
March 24: Submission Deadline
April 11: Art Show and Winner Announcement, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Mountain View Campus Treetop Lounge (Room W136). Light lunch will be served.
