Tired of the standard "job fair" routine? Dallas College Career Services is changing the game and blending traditional career development with innovative programs that meet you where you are – and where you want to go.

Dallas College’s program offers a holistic approach that combines professional development, career exploration and real-world learning opportunities.

More Than Just Résumé Reviews

How we can help you get a job right now and prepare for your dream career:

  • Career coaching and exploration
  • Career assessment through Lightcast
  • Résumé writing assistance
  • Mock interviews
  • Job application support
  • Ready-Set-Launch Career Institute, a virtual intensive career readiness program that includes reflection projects, a program completion dinner and graduation cord
  • Career development workshops that enhance marketable skills
  • Access to the Handshake app for virtual career fairs and direct employer connections
  • GreenLight Locker access to match with colleges and universities for education opportunities and scholarship information

What sets the program apart is its integration with industry professionals. Through partnerships with local businesses and organizations, students meet Dallas College alumni and other professionals working in their field of study.

"Students get to interact with professionals and make connections that can potentially lead to employment with their company," said Derek Soper, associate dean of career skills development.
