With Dallas College at Forney, Forney residents can take advantage of a Dallas College experience, right in their backyard.

High school graduates can attend classes at Dallas College without leaving Forney. Dallas College is right in your neighborhood through the Dallas College at Forney program. Evening college-level classes are currently being offered at Forney High School and North Forney High School campuses. Additionally, classes are offered at The Opportunity Central (The OC).

Registration Details

Earn College Credit Up to a Certificate or Degree

You can take your Core courses, complete a college certificate or finish a two-year associate degree. Whatever your educational goals, Dallas College at Forney can help.

For those looking to earn a bachelor's degree, core credits are designed to transfer. Forney residents who choose to transfer credits to Texas Tech University (TTU) may be able to complete their bachelor's degree without ever leaving Forney.

Students who will attend a Forney ISD high school for the upcoming semester should contact their high school counselor for dual credit options.

Discounted Tuition Rates

Discounted tuition rates are provided through the Dallas College at Forney program. Forney residents can pay in-county tuition rates for eligible Dallas College courses held at Forney ISD campuses (or earmarked as Dallas College at Forney sections).

Students who will attend a Forney ISD high school for the upcoming semester should contact their high school counselor for dual credit options.

People at Dallas College at Forney

Currently more than 400 Forney high school students earn college credit in over 40 course sections each semester.

But they aren’t the only ones. As of 2021, community members of all ages are also heading to Forney’s high school buildings for college-level courses. This includes current Dallas College students, many of whom happen to live in Forney.
