Dual Credit Onboarding Activites
Welcome to Dallas College, and welcome to the new semester!
You are a college student now, and you want to make sure you are ready for the first day of class. Follow the outlined Onboarding Activities and get ready to start your college adventure.
Before you begin, know your username. This will be your Dallas College account with your student ID number (for example: e7654321@student.dcccd.edu).
- New dual credit students should reference the Set up eConnect/Self-Service Account (opens in a new tab) tutorial.
- Continuing dual credit students can reset their password (opens in a new tab) if needed.
- If you are not yet enrolled in Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), use the Forgot/Reset My Password (opens in a new tab) in eConnect, or directly at Microsoft Password Reset (opens in a new tab).
Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) (opens in a new tab) in just three steps! With MFA, a user’s identity is confirmed in multiple ways to ensure your information stays safe.
- Setup Self-Service Password Reset
- Download the MFA App
- Sign In Account After Enabling MFA
Launching in Spring 2024: RapidIdentity Pictograph authentication. Do not complete this at this time, unless you are a Richardson ISD student.

All Richardson ISD students will need to log in with RapidIdentity pictograph authentication. Please review the step-by-step guide below to begin setup.
my.DallasCollege.edu (opens in a new tab) is the main student interface for quick access to your college email account, assigned Success Coach contact info, online tools, and all student support resources.
With my.DallasCollege.edu, you can:
- Check your Dallas College email account
- Find your success coach
- Review your class information
- Find support contact information
- Use online tools, e.g. Virtual Desktop
- Find Student Support resources in one location
Navigate using the top three tabs (circled in red below): Online Tools, Student Support and Dallas College Sites.
Brightspace is the eCampus platform, an online learning environment where you will access all of your classes and class materials.
