This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Plumbing Technology Tradesman Plumber Level I Certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn a Level I Certificate in Plumbing Technology Tradesman Plumber. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related A.A.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. This program will teach the student plumbing skills that can be applied to residential and commercial plumbing systems. These skills will be obtained to serve in a variety of work environments where plumbing maintenance is needed. The student will complete a cooperative education course that stands as the capstone of the program. This capstone will allow valuable experience in the industry. Courses that complete this certificate are noted below.
Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.

PFPB 1382 – Cooperative Education-Plumbing Technology/Plumber This is the capstone course for this award.
