The Texas Direct - Associate of Arts Degree with a Field of Study in Psychology is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to major in psychology and transfer to a four-year college or university in Texas. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved this field of study in psychology. Therefore, this degree plan will constitute a semester credit hour transfer block to any public Texas four-year college or university with a psychology major.

This is an example course sequence for students interested in Psychology. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Texas Direct – Associate of Arts Degree with a Field of Study in Psychology, which will increase your chances of transfer to bachelor's level programs. Courses that complete the degree are noted below. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.
