Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official degree requirements.
The A.A.S. degree program in Plumbing is an intense, hands-on program where the student will experience industry applications in plumbing, piping, construction, fabrication, blueprint reading and more. Most of this training will be in a laboratory setting and learning the tools of the trade. The student will complete a cooperative education course that stands as the capstone of the program. This capstone will allow valuable experience in the industry. Courses that complete the degree also complete the Plumbing Technology Certificate (PT), the Rising Plumber Certificate (RP), the Rising Plumber Occupational Skills Award (OSA) and the Tradesman Plumber Certificate (TP) are noted below.
