It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Google IT Professional Occupational Skills Award. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related A.A.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. This award is designed for entry-level students seeking a foundation in information technology with an industry credential. Topics include essentials of personal computers, operating systems, technical support, networking, security, and system administration. Upon completion, students will earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate. Courses that complete the certificate are noted below.
Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
