This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Film and Video Production Advanced Technical Certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Film and Video Production Advanced Technical Certificate in Video Technology. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

The Film and Video Production Advanced Technical Certificate is designed for college graduates of two-year or four-year film and video programs to enhance their technical and creative knowledge, skills, and experiences for career advancement. Students will develop professional skills and knowledge specific to their individual career goals. In this flexible certificate program, students can choose to focus on narrative or documentary filmmaking or live multi-camera productions. Upon successful completion of this certification, each student will have an advanced portfolio of work. Courses that complete the Certificate are noted below.
