These essential skills will help students bring their designs to life from concept to reality. Students will also learn to communicate design concepts using digital software in fashion computer graphics.
After completion of this award, students will be prepared to begin employment at an entry-level position or enhance their skills in the fashion industry as a design assistant, patternmaker, sample-maker, or start their own career as a fashion designer. Students receiving this certificate can begin working in the fashion industry while continuing their education and completing their AAS degrees in Apparel Design or Technical Pattern Design.
