This is an example course sequence for students interested in Computer Information Technology Cloud Computing Awards. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn a Level I certificate in Cloud Computing. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.
This certificate option will provide education and training for individuals interested in developing their knowledge of the foundations of cloud technology. Topics covered include introduction to Cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google), Linux, Python, Virtualization, and Networking. Includes preparation for Foundation cloud certification (various platforms). Courses that complete the certificate and the Cloud Computing Occupational Skills Award (OSA) are listed below.
Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
