Preparation for positions in the auto collision industry in the area of metal and structural repair. Courses include metal repair, frame repair, and major panel replacement. Students receive training using lab modules, live projects, and cooperative work experience. Courses that complete the occupational skills award are noted below.
Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites, as long as the student completes the TSI waiver form prior to enrollment.

ABDR 1307 – Collision Repair Welding This is the capstone course for this award.
