This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Networking Virtualization Skills Achievement Award. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn a Networking Virtualization Skills Achievement Award. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related A.A.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

This certificate will examine introductory to complex virtualization concepts and configurations and troubleshooting tools. Upon completion of each course, the student will have acquired skills needed to prepare for certification exams to become VMWare VCP certified and is eligible to take the appropriate VCP (VMWare Certified Professional) credentialing exam. Courses that complete the Networking Virtualization Skills Achievement Award are noted below.

Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
