The Credential for Critical Care Professionals Enhanced Skills Certificate program combines classroom teaching with supervised clinical and field experience for medical professionals seeking certification as a Paramedic with the Texas Department of Health Services. The student will be introduced to patient assessment, airway, medical, pediatrics, obstetrics, geriatrics, and trauma management from a pre-hospital care perspective along with the psychomotor skills to support these activities. An associate's degree or higher in the health care discipline is required. Courses that complete the Enhanced Skills Certificate are noted below.
