This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn a Certificate in CNC Mill and Lathe Operator. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.
This certificate program was developed to provide training for participants to become CNC Mill and Lathe Operators using lab equipment and software consistent with industry standards. Courses that complete the Certificate are noted below.
Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.

- MCHN 1393 – Special Topics in Tool and Die Maker/Technologist
MCHN 2334 – Operation of CNC Machining Centers This is the capstone course for this award.
