The guided pathway in Civil Engineering, Field of Study is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to major in Engineering and transfer to a university. An Associate of Science Field of Study in Civil Engineering degree with courses in this pathway prepares you to transfer to a university to earn a bachelor's degree. This Guided Pathway map contains a selection of lower-division courses that are guaranteed by state law to transfer and apply to a degree program.
This pathway is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Civil Engineering. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an A.S. Field of Study degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Courses that complete the degree are noted below. See the catalog for official degree requirements. This Field of Study degree in Civil Engineering does not complete the Core.
