The Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) Business Academy at Dallas College is a unique partnership, bringing business instruction to Dallas College students. After completing the Associate of Arts with a Field of Study in Business and Management at Dallas College, students move seamlessly into the third year of a four-year Business degree through TAMUC. The Field of Study in Business Administration and Management is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to major in Business and transfer to a four-year college/university.
This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Business Administration and Management. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree with a Field of Study in Business Administration and Management, which will increase your chances of transfer to TAMUC to earn a Business degree through TAMUC. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official degree requirements.
This pathway fulfills the Dallas College Interstate Passport requirements. The Interstate Passport at Dallas College is awarded to students who have achieved lower-division general education learning outcomes in a set of approved courses that are recognized by all other colleges and universities participating.
