Following this pathway will help you earn an Associate of Science (AS) degree which will increase your chances of transfer to earn a BS in Biomedical Sciences at the UNT Health Science Center. Although there may be several options to fulfill certain requirements for the associate's degree, please note that this pathway lists the specific courses leading to this bachelor's degree. The guided pathway in Biology will set the foundation to discover and understand how living things work in conjunction with their surroundings while utilizing skills based upon the scientific method.

This pathway does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an AS degree, which will increase your chances of transfer to UNT Health Science Center to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Courses that complete the degree are noted below. Visit UNT Health Science Center's School of Biomedical Sciences Admissions to submit your application online. See catalog for official degree requirements. To complete the BS in Biomedical Sciences degree in four semesters, students can transfer in with 13 additional math/science electives for a total of 73 transfer credits from Dallas College. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher to stay in good academic standing in the UNT Health Science Center's BS-BMSC program.
