The Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) Agriculture Academy at Dallas College offers you an affordable way to get the right education and training for success. If you are completing your first two years of coursework at Dallas College or if you already have an Associate of Applied Science degree in an agricultural field, you are encouraged to apply. Students accepted into the Ag Academy will complete courses at Dallas College together. You will be part of a cohort learning community—which means you will have a chance to get and give support to other students who share your passion for agriculture. After your junior year, you will complete your last year of courses online or at the Commerce campus. For more information, visit Texas A&M University-Commerce Agriculture Academy – Dallas College.

This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Agriculture. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an A.S. degree, which will increase your chances of transfer to TAMUC to earn a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science Broadfield or a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Courses that complete the Degree are noted below. See catalog for official degree requirements.

This pathway fulfills the Dallas College Interstate Passport requirements. The Interstate Passport at Dallas College is awarded to students who have achieved lower-division general education learning outcomes in a set of approved courses that are recognized by all other colleges and universities participating. Please visit the Interstate Passport – Dallas College webpage for more information. Certain courses may not apply to the Passport block requirements.  See your success coach for more information.
