This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Radiologic Sciences associate degree. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Radiologic Sciences. To apply to the Radiologic Sciences program, an applicant must meet the conditions of one of the listed Application Eligibility categories. Detailed information is in the application packet. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official degree requirements.
The Radiologic Sciences Program is a two-year A.A.S. degree program with a competitive admissions process. The program prepares you to perform diagnostic imaging exams in a variety of radiology environments. The program is a balanced curriculum of sciences, liberal arts, and technical courses including didactic and clinical courses. Upon completion of the program, you will be awarded an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree and are qualified to take the Certification exam for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Courses that complete the Degree are noted below.
