This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Fashion Marketing. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Fashion Marketing. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official degree requirements.
The Fashion Marketing program at the El Centro Campus is a nationally renowned vocational education program that combines modern business principles with ambition, creativity, and enthusiasm. Students earn up to four credentials following this pathway: Visual Merchandising Assistant Certificate (VM), Wholesale and Manufacturing Sales Representative Certificate (WM), and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Marketing, as well as the new Sales and Marketing Professional Certificate (SM). Fashion Marketing at El Centro is currently the only program in the state to be recognized by the Texas Workforce Investment Council for fully integrating standards and critical work skills, as defined by the National Retail Federation and other recognized industry groups, into the curriculum.
