This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Digital Photography/Video Level I certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn a certificate in Digital Photography/Video. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

The Level I Certificate in Digital Photography/Video is a one-year certificate program designed to give students the necessary skills to work in the growing field of digital imaging and photography.  Students will use computer software, traditional and digital darkroom techniques, and technical and artistic skills in photography, to communicate visually. Film based cameras as well as digital cameras will be used, in addition to film scanners, flatbed scanners, inkjet printers, color laser printers, and other equipment used in the digital imaging arena.  Courses that complete the Certificate are noted below.

Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
