This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Advanced-Level Logistics Professional certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Advanced-Level Logistics Professional Level 1 Certificate. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related AA.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

This certificate will develop advanced skills in logistics with a focus in specific logistics applications.  The skills learned through this certificate will advance students beyond entry-level employment into management opportunities.  Topics include Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications, transportation management, International logistics, and business communication.  Courses that complete the Advanced-Level Logistics Professional Certificate are noted below.

Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.

  • LMGT 1301 - Radio Frequency Identification (RFID): History and Industrial Applications OR

SEMESTER 1 ACTION ITEMS

  3. Meet with a faculty or career advisor regarding placement for the Cooperative course.
