Still Serving: Strength in Seeking Support

Strong Alone, Unstoppable Together

Join us for the 7th annual Veterans Mental Health Summit and Resource Fair on Sept. 25, 2025.

What: The Veterans Mental Health Summit centers on the powerful message that seeking support is not a sign of weakness, but a continuation of the strength, resilience and dedication that define military service. Under the theme "Still Serving: Strength in Seeking Support," this year’s summit challenges stigmas surrounding mental health by honoring the courage it takes to ask for help and pursue healing. The opening keynote speaker is Brigadier General Jeffrey D. Pugh.

Who: Veterans, veteran supporters, students, employees and mental health practitioners are encouraged to attend. The summit is a collaborative education and outreach initiative between Dallas College’s offices of Military Connected Services (MCS) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), in conjunction with the VA North Texas Health Care System and several local veteran service organizations.

Where: Live stream to watch from anywhere or attend in-person at Mountain View Campus. The college is providing transportation for students from other campuses to Mountain View.

Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.Dallas College Mountain View Campus and Live StreamE Building, Performance Hall
