Content Type Details

  • ID: 439
  • Name: Dallas - Emergency Notice
  • Minimum user level: Administrator
  • Use with page layouts: N/A

Use the Emergency Notice content type for urgent messages that need to be shared quickly and only will be displayed for short periods of time. For less time sensitive messages to be displayed for longer periods use the Announcement content type.

The Instant Publish Listener is configured at System Administration > System settings > Preview & publish to automatically publish sections that contain the Emergency Notice Content Type. This means that when a notice is added or updated, the section will automatically publish, and the notice will appear on all pages of the website – no separate publish action is required.

A JSON file is published containing emergency notice(s). The file is in the Media Library (ID: 11042) and contains a Related Content navigation object.

Emergency Notices do not show on pages that use the PPC Campaign page layout.
