Announcement

Add a non-emergency announcement to the top/header of all pages. Add content to section Site Assets » Announcements.

Content Type Details

  • ID: 440
  • Name: Dallas - Announcement
  • Minimum user level: Contributor
  • Use with page layouts: N/A

Use the Announcement content type for less time sensitive messages to be displayed for longer periods. For more urgent messages that need to be shared quickly and only will be displayed for short periods of time use the Emergency Notice content type.

Use the Publish date and Expiry Date elements on the options tab to schedule announcements.

A full channel publish is required for an Announcement to be displayed on every page of the website.

Announcements do not show on pages that use the PPC Campaign page layout.
