September 2025

  • Area of Study:
    • Added an optional accordion on the Area of Study pages for accreditation information.
    • Added the option to add additional accordions as needed. Accordions must be added in a child section named "additional-information."
  • Content Image Grid: Added an option to hide boxes on XL size screens for when there's 3 items in a row
  • Org Card, Feature Card, Big Button Block, Grand Button and Tile: Updated to allow 1 block per row, which will allow the content to fill the full width of the container.

August 2025

  • Employee, Employee Card Manual Display, Student Experience Cards Nesting:
    • Updated the main employee content type to include:
      • schools serviced field. Use semi-colons to delineate between schools.
      • pronouns
    • Both fields will display on the embedded employee card.
  • Tile with Title: Moved the content type to production. Allows the creation of image tiles with a title below each tile.
  • Related Articles: Added a new Single layout to show featured news stories, primarily for the Student Newsroom.
  • Article: Added a Featured Image Caption field to allow captions under the Featured Images.
    • Added a Featured Article checkbox to allow for selected articles to appear in the updated Related Articles content type.
  • Event, Related Events and Events Block: Updated to use the "tag" field to group calendar events for publishing around the site instead of the previous "keyword" field. Added a Featured Image Caption field to allow captions under the Featured Images.
  • TinyMCE: Added a .visually-hidden class to the editor. This will allow editors to visually see what will be hidden from view on the published page. Anything wrapped with the .visually-hidden class will use Bootstrap CSS on publish to hide content from view but still be accessible to screenreaders.
  • TinyMCE: Added cb-title styles, including a new cb-title-light

  • Redirect: Added a checkbox for publishing the redirect on the public site. Checkbox should be checked by default when creating a new redirect.

  • Related Credentials: Added an option to filter by Online credentials. Used primarily on the Dallas College Online site.

  • Events Block: Added an option to filter by Location. Remember to select All Locations and/or All Seven Campuses if you want to include things that happen across the college (like registration, holidays, etc.)
  • Sidebar Nav: Sidebar updated to show only parent and children sections. If children do not exist, siblings are shown. (Nav 296) Additionally, chevron on parent level has been removed via CSS.
  • Related Articles: Added Featured News layout with three color themes, grey, blue and white.
  • Accordion: Now allows for embedding existing Events Block content. Event block most already exist and then is selected as content (not section). Recommend event blocks setup as a child section calendar-embed under the parent section. See Accordion for example.
  • Row of Images: New checkbox allows editors to set the layout for images as circles (.rounded-circle).
  • Big Button Block: New content type adds an accordion feature to large button blocks. Only works with three buttons per row.
  • Area of Study: Added an option to embed a video between the accordions and custom content sections.
  • PPC Non RFI Form CTA: Allows PPC pages to be built without the standard Unified RFI form.
  • Feature Card: Added the option to make the photo and headline clickable when creating feature cards with images.
  • Row of Images: Added option to set a link on the image and a new caption field for each image.
  • Department/Employee Cards Nesting: Updated name to Department, Employee, Student Experience Cards Nesting and added functionality to allow the selection of student testimonials.
  • Events Block: Added an option to display the title/header with the .module-title.module-title--sm classes. If the checkbox is not selected, the title will display as a standard H2.
  • Feature Card, Grand Button, Org Card and Tile: Updated tile to allow for setting 2, 3 or 4 tiles in a row.
  • Page layouts: Added an updated date above the footer for the Full Width, Page with Sidebar, PPC Campaign and Microsite page layouts.

  • Related Credentials - Builds a list of related credentials based on credential type, and area of study. Will display a default Dallas College logo unless another image is set for the credential. Data is managed under Site Assets > Credentials.
  • PHP Student Experience Search - Builds the search functionality for Student Experiences using the PHP Student Experience Search Configuration.
  • PHP GPS Search - Builds the search functionality for Guided Pathway Maps using the PHP GPS Search Configuration.
  • Related Student Experiences - Allows editors to add student profiles to a page based on school, area of study or keywords.
  • Org Card: Fixed conflict between standard layout, two card layout and header only. Header only option is now a checkbox. The first card in the series will be where the setting comes from.
  • Full Width Row Start: Added a margins setting for the top and bottom margins as well as an option to repeat the background on the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) axis.
  • Button Group: Added an option to align the buttons to the left instead of center.
  • Single Column Block Advanced: Added my-3 as a default margin on the content blocks and added a selector to use any of the Bootstrap 5 my-X options. By default, there will be a 1.5rem (my-3) margin on the top of each content block but the editors can select 0-5 or auto margin.
  • Article & Event: Added a new thumbnail option for displaying on the search results page and related article/event content type. The platform will look for a thumbnail, then look for a featured image and then display the default image if there's no image in the previous two fields.
  • Non-Employee Contact Card: New content type to display contact information on a web page for non-employees. Examples; retirees, contractors, outside speakers or presenters.
  • Related Articles: Added a keyword option for bringing in news articles based on their selected keyword. Note: selecting a category and keyword will bring in any articles that match either the keyword or the category.
  • Event/Event Details Page: Removed summary on the event page to avoid duplicate information.
  • Button Advanced: Added an option for centering the buttons on the page. Note: Button Group also defaults to centered buttons if needed.
  • Accordion: Updated the CSS for quiet accordions so they should inherit the background behind them.
  • Flexbox Card: Added a selector for layout to select auto, two, three or four cards wide on a medium screen or larger. The size remains from medium and larger.
  • Bootstrap Column Start: Added a background color option. The background color is nested under the column classes, so you will need to use the Bootstrap Column End content type to mark where the color ends.
  • Employee Card Automatic Display: Added a wrap-around accordion option so long lists can be wrapped with an accordion and not displayed fully expanded.
  • Single Column Block Advanced: Added Bootstrap coding so each row remains a consistent height when a background color is added to the content blocks.
  • Unified RFI Form: Adds the new Unified RFI form to any page on the website and includes a text field above the form as well as to the left of the form.
  • Related Area of Study Lists: Used to display a list of related areas of study on any pages across the site, but primarily on the school pages.
  • Full Location Schema: A new content type for administrators and power users to add a full SEO schema to the home page that displays information about every Dallas College location and updates from the Location content type.

  • Single Location Schema: A new content type for administrators and power users to add SEO schema to location pages with data from the main location content type.
  • New Style Rules:
    • Alert Boxes should only be used as timed notices (a start and end date). The background color on the Single Column Block or Single Column Block Advanced should be used for any visual emphasis.
  • Areas of Study Search Bar: Adds a search bar to the page that searches the Areas of Study on the site.
  • Content and Image Block: Updated to allow an option for full width layouts, stretching the content across the full width of the screen.
  • New Style Rules:
    • Level 2 and Level 3 pages should use the Two Column Content Wide banner, except for special events and campaign landing pages
    • Headers should simply be text, without any icons in front or after the header text
  • Link to File Button: Allows the editor to link to a PDF or Office document in the top right corner of a web page and automatically includes the file size.
  • Data box: Added an option to use a custom image instead of an icon, set the data figure as optional and added an option to allow the boxes to automatically resize using Bootstrap .col (flexbox)
  • Accordion: Added Accordion Heading Level to set the headings within the accordion bar. The setting will filter to all the accordions within the sequence or series.
  • Video Embed: Updated the transcript button to Accordion Quiet Small.
  • Alert Boxes: Creates colored emphasis boxes for announcements and notices within a web page. Similar to Emergency or Sitewide Notices but for messages of lower importance within a page. Alert Boxes should only be used as timed notices (a start and end date).
  • Single Column Block and Single Column Block Advanced: Added Blue Border to the background options to wrap the content in a 2px border instead of a background color.
  • Misc. QA fixes with CSS and HTML
  • Sidebar: Updated second level sections in the sidebar to mirror parent levels and remove chevrons.

  • Dallas - Single Column Block Group: Replicates the function of Single Column Block but allows the user to select Bootstrap columns for each block. Add general text content to the page, content options include headings, blockquote, inline images and buttons.
  • Dallas - Bootstrap Column Start: If building a design with columns in a row, this element starts the column on the page. The first element can also start the row.
  • Dallas - Bootstrap Column End: If building a design with columns in a row, this element ends the column and can close the row. Requires Dallas - Bootstrap Column Start.
  • Dallas - Department/Employee Cards Nesting: Add a department or employee card directly on a page without mirroring or an accordion.
  • Dallas - Accessibility Statement: Adds the approved accessibility statement to a website with the contact's phone number and email.
  • Dallas - Featured Person Block: A method for building repeating image, names and descriptions for links.  Primarily used with Administration and Board of Trustee bios.
  • Dallas - Vertical Spacing: Builds an empty space in between content types using REMs. Mirrors <div class="spacer-x"></div> functionality.
  • Dallas - Full Width Location Map: Builds a map module to include on the location and map pages, or anywhere else a location map is needed.
