New Student Orientation

Congratulations on starting your educational journey at Dallas College!

New Student Orientation is where all Dallas College Students:

  • Begin to find their place among a diverse community of fellow learners.
  • Develop academic and career goals and discover resources customized for their success.
  • Meet current students and discover ways to be involved on campus.
  • Become immersed in the culture and traditions of Dallas College.

All new students are expected to attend an on-campus New Student Orientation session.

New Student Orientation Dates

Whether you are career-focused or planning to transfer, we want you to be as prepared as possible for this experience. Orientation sessions are held on each campus throughout the summer. We even have evening and Saturday sessions so you can find a New Student Orientation session that fits your schedule!

Online Parent Orientation

Parents and families, we didn’t forget about you! Check out the Online Parent Orientation for resources that will help you during this journey, too. You may also choose to attend an in-person New Student Orientation.

Your student(s) should simply indicate you as their guest when they RSVP.
