School of Education

Setting Dallas College Apart
The School of Education continues to establish itself as a leader in educator preparation. We were the only community college commended as an “innovator” by the State Board for Educator Certification.
Additionally, we have seen more than 80% of our bachelor’s graduates who were placed in paid, year-long residency roles land full-time jobs in the same school system.
“The program is very accommodating. They have a program where you could be adaptive, where you can keep your current job, but you still have that time in classrooms to be able to be successful in the program.”

“The college has been great. My professors have made a huge impact on my life. I’ll remember all of them. They really took care of us and helped us through each step.”
