Board Relations Executive

Perla Molina is a detail-oriented leader who prides herself on her ability to remain calm in all situations. With a long tenure at Dallas College, Molina has worked in various departments, ultimately landing her current leadership position.

Molina serves as the board relations executive at Dallas College. Her typical duties are to run and manage board meetings, but oftentimes, her responsibilities extend far beyond that. Although she never envisioned herself in such a high-level role, she knows she was put there for a reason — to make an impact through her strong collaboration and trust-building skills.

Throughout her career, Molina was mentored by two exceptional Dallas College leaders who saw a confidence and professionalism in her that she didn’t see in herself. They guided her career path, allowing her to fail and helping combat her imposter syndrome every step of the way.

Despite her hectic schedule, Molina’s colleagues know that from 6-9 p.m. every night, you’ll never catch her online. This is her time to spend with her two kiddos, cuddling on the couch while watching a Harry Potter movie. She also enjoys gardening as a way to relax. Molina looks forward to teaching the community how to build and manage successful relationships across an organization.
