Martha Fernandez

Deputy Chief of Continuous Improvement

Martha Fernandez is an innovative leader who leverages her broad range of expertise across varying domains to guide others. Her experience ranges from community and workforce employer engagement to advocacy, policy and continuous improvement. 

Fernandez currently serves as the deputy chief of continuous improvement at Dallas College. In her role she collaborates, designs and implements continuous improvement strategies that align with Dallas College's strategic priorities, values and culture. 

Fernandez attributes her success to her curiosity and optimism. She emphasizes the importance of having a strong vision of your values and personal mission to guide your career and ensure your impact is meaningful.

When she is not deep in collaboration with cross-functional teams, you can find Fernandez spending her time fostering connections whether through hiking in nature, mentoring the community, practicing yoga or spending time with her younger brothers. She is excited to be a resource for the community in engagement and continuous improvement.​​​​
