Chief Human Resources Officer

H. Louis Burrell III is a disciplined leader with over 25 years of human resources experience across various industries. Motivated by the desire to create positive work environments, Burrell believes that high-performing cultures start with strong leadership supported by a strategic human resources team.

Burrell currently serves as the chief human resources officer for Dallas College. In his role, he oversees the development and implementation of human resources strategies, focusing on creating a winning culture that employees are proud of. He believes his team’s hard work will help the college continue to break barriers and impact student lives.

A true strategist at heart, Burrell credits his success in his field to learning the language of business and becoming certified in Lean Six Sigma. He is passionate about continuous improvement and believes it is the lifeblood of winning organizations.

When Burrell isn’t enhancing company dynamics, you can find him outdoors either on a putting green or by a pond, given his love for golf and fishing. He is excited to connect with the community and inspire transformative change in the workplace.
