Justin Cunningham

Associate Vice Chancellor, Innovation and Business Strategy

Justin Cunningham is a resilient leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. His technical skills and operational proficiency have been developed over 18 years of work in advanced education and global experience. While he excels at using innovation to push colleges out of their comfort zone, he also has a passion for new product development. 

Cunningham currently serves as the associate vice chancellor of innovation and business strategy at Dallas College. He focuses on evaluating technology, creating successful strategies and developing contract training and employer partnerships. 

Some develop an entrepreneurial spirit on their own, but Cunningham inherited his from his grandfather. He draws deep inspiration from his success as he found a job on the first day he immigrated to the United States and went on to hold 26 patents. 

When Cunningham isn’t brainstorming new ideas for change, you can find him enjoying time at home, raising his family. He also loves to travel and hit the putting green. Cunningham looks forward to teaching the community the importance of patience and resilience.
