Juan Garcia

Chief of Staff

Juan Garcia is an ambitious leader who first learned about the field of education during his time as a Dallas College student. Now, he dedicates his efforts to uplifting the community and driving organizational excellence.

Garcia is currently the chief of staff at Dallas College. In his role, he supports the chancellor by coordinating external affairs and activities, and partners with senior leadership to develop, implement and execute strategic priorities across the college. In 2022, Garcia’s hard work and perseverance was recognized in Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.

Garcia made significant sacrifices and took risks to reach his current career, including following his father to the U.S. for better opportunities. He credits this risk, along with the support of his parents, for bettering his life and influencing his success.

When Garcia isn’t working towards the Dallas College mission and vision, you can find him connecting with his friends and family either at home or overseas when he has the chance to travel. He is eager to further contribute to the community, bringing his selflessness and motivation to help build a better future for everyone.
