​Dr. Joe Seabrooks Jr. is a supportive leader with a deep commitment to student success and community engagement. With over 30 years of experience in higher education, he believes workforce development is key to transforming lives and communities.

In his role as president of Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus, Dr. Seabrooks leads strategic initiatives regarding freight, mobility and logistics as well as arts and entertainment. He is deeply passionate about leadership development and enjoys helping individuals discover their purpose.

As a mentor himself, Dr. Seabrooks credits his success to the guidance and support of his own mentors. Through their insights, he gained invaluable knowledge in leadership, higher education administration, student commitment and how to prepare the next generation of leaders.

When he isn’t transforming student lives through his work, Dr. Seabrooks is opening their minds with his insightful guidance. Though he pours much of his heart and soul into leadership and mentoring, he also cherishes time spent with his family and enjoys the thrill of a pickup basketball game. Dr. Seabrooks eagerly anticipates inspiring other community members and organizations to champion education equity and workforce readiness.
