Greg Morris

Senior Vice Provost of Academic Services

Dr. Greg Morris is an approachable leader focused on bringing innovation to programming, academics, enrollment management and workforce education. Serving in a variety of educational environments throughout his career, Dr. Morris is passionate about thinking outside of the box and delivering strong ideas through thought leadership.

Dr. Morris currently serves as the senior vice provost of academic services at Dallas College. In his role, he collaborates across the college and with external partners to ensure the college offers leading academic programming and opportunities to all students. Dr. Morris also launched two important programs at Dallas College: the IncludED program, which helps cover student costs of most learning materials, and the Academic Incubator, which offers entrepreneurship resources, networking and education.

Dr. Morris draws his inspiration from previous leadership he has served under. He was nominated by a former chancellor to be a part of the Aspen Presidential Fellows program, an opportunity he credits with influencing the latter part of his career.

When Dr. Morris isn’t using his critical thinking skills to solve complex problems at the college, you can find him scouring town for the best discount or charming the ears of his husband and dog with his piano playing. He looks forward to bringing his passion for educational programming to the Dallas community.
