Dr. Beatriz Joseph is a principled leader with one focus: to positively impact student success. With 30 years of experience in higher education, she is a true believer in the power of education and how it can transform lives and future opportunities.

Dr. Joseph currently serves as the vice chancellor for student success at Dallas College. In her role, she is dedicated to busting barriers so that students can succeed in school and their personal lives. In addition to impacting classrooms, she actively engages with community and industry partners to ensure everyone is meeting their goals and creating an empowering environment for education to flourish.

To rise to her power of influence, Dr. Joseph says she’s taken many responsible risks along the way. She credits her husband for encouraging her to explore unconsidered opportunities and always seeing her potential.

Dr. Joseph remains busy in her work helping students advance their journeys. When she does get a little time to herself, you can find her on her own journey, either via pages in a book or a plane ride through the skies. She looks forward to inspiring others to prioritize student well-being and success, as that is the recipe for a thriving community.
